Sairel had never entered this room. He was too low and that was a fact that he did not chafe against. Everyone had their place and their purpose. The fact he was called at all was a blessing that he cherished. So upon his entrance he is awed. He walked forward with his hood back and his eyes turned up, beholding the six of the Council. This was a honor that he never believed he would have.

...and yet it was not for praise that he was brought here. The booming voice that echoed through the room and in his bones solidified that notion.

"Holy Ones, I beg your forgiveness for I do not!" Sairel sunk to his knees and he bowed his head. He had not the time to bound the long fall of his dark hair so it flushed forward until it was caught under his clothing.

"The one you brought this day is gone."

Pure confusion played over Sairel's face and he was glad not have to look up lest he cause greater offense. "Holy Ones, that cannot be-"

"Do you dare to claim we are wrong?!"

Sairel hunched, placing his hands on the floor and bowing lower still. "No, Holy Ones."

Gabriel's expression, in comparison to Kozatiel, was kind and understanding. "He is stronger than any other. He will retain his will even after his change. You must have noticed that something was different about him."

"Different, Gabriel?" At Kozatiel's tone, Michael straightened and leveled a firm stare at him, but he ignored it. "Sairel, you have set something in motion today. Something the end result of which cannot be foreseen. That boy is the physical incarnation of Lucifer himself!"
